Enter a start and end point and we'll check the weather forecast along the whole route, then give you an overall risk score and a leg-by-leg breakdown. Built for sailors and pilots planning a passage. Advisory only, always cross-check official marine and aviation forecasts.
We draw the great-circle path between your two points and sample the weather forecast at several stops along it. Each stop is scored on the conditions that matter for your mode of travel, for sailing, that's wind strength (in knots), gusts, and wave height; for flying, it's wind speed and, crucially, the gust spread that makes handling difficult. The overall score blends the average across the route with the single worst leg, because one dangerous stretch can define a passage.
A low score means the forecast looks favourable; a severe score means you should seriously consider postponing or re-routing. This tool is a planning aid, not an authority, it doesn't replace official marine forecasts, aviation weather briefings, NOTAMs, or your own judgement and training.
